First five-star Hotel in Puerto Rico, completed in 2010 comprising of 139 rooms in 12 multi-story buildings, Restaurant with a seating capacity of 120, a Spa with seven secluded massage villas and fitness center, retail areas, administration facilities, and public areas. All major structures were Cast in Place concrete with stunning finishes.
Completed in 2012, this was the first six-star Hotel in Puerto Rico and second Ritz Carlton Reserve in the world. 115 beach front rooms, 13 Ritz Carlton Reserve Branded Residential units and 7 utility buildings, built in an area of 1,400 acres, formerly the Dorado Beach Hotel at a cost of $45,000,000. Achieved LEED Certification.
The project consisted of the construction of a new fitness and yoga center and remodeling of the hotel public areas including the hotel entrance, lobby, ballrooms, bars, restrooms, restaurants, and pools.
A new 156,000 Square foot Medical Devices manufacturing facility including clean room areas, warehousing, offices, laboratory, training rooms, cafeteria, mechanical, engineering and packaging areas. Project also included electrical substation, emergency generator, water tanks, cooling tower, fire pumphouse, access roads, parking and landscaping.
CIC acted as general contractors, working with UNIPRO architects & Engineers on the $12,000,000 Pall Life Sciences facility in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.
A 223,000 Square foot manufacturing, warehouse and office building. Project scope included Clean Room areas for manufacturing medical devices, a high bay warehouse, administration offices, cafeteria, training rooms, laboratory, mechanical and electrical, packaging and warehouse areas, chiller building and neutralization system, plus parking, roads and landscaping.
CIC acted as General Contractors on the construction of the new Humalog Manufacturing Building, material movement corridor, PC13 Manufacturing Building expansion, a new Waste Water Treatment Plant plus offices for management, administration, IT, laboratory personnel and inspectors, including meeting rooms, training areas and server rooms.
Amgen’s largest manufacturing site. Since 2002 CIC has been a key contractor in one of the largest Biologics manufacturing facilities in the world. Project included manufacturing plants, quality testing analytical laboratories, syringe line, lyophilization area, high speed packaging facility, warehouses, waste water treatment plant, cafeteria and daycare center.
The Barclay White/CIC Construction Group joint venture performed this fast track project for Wyeth as an expansion of the parental production building, increasing capacity of existing utility systems. Much of the construction was required to be completed within the existing operational facility.
CIC acted as General Contractors to construct a new administration and laboratory building at Merck’s Arecibo site.
