CIC was the general contractor for the expanded facility, which added 290,000 square feet to the existing plant and will double the production. The project scope included the construction of two buildings: The Filtration Management Technologies (FMT) building designed for the manufacturing and packaging of IV-like, single-use bags used for the preparation, storage, and transportation of materials used to make biological drugs; and the Membrane and Casting building for the manufacturing of membranes for biologic products manufacturing filters. The scope also included laboratories, offices and warehouse areas.
